The company\u2019s no-code automation platform had fallen behind, burdened by years of technical debt and internal misalignment. The board made the bold decision to bring in a new CEO \u2014 a rare blend of product strategist, technologist, and cultural stabilizer \u2014 while the founder\/CEO remained in place for a six-month transition. This high-stakes leadership change required surgical precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-solutions\">Solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The PE sponsor knew this wouldn\u2019t be a typical CEO search. The ideal candidate had to have deep product and technical chops, executive maturity, emotional intelligence, and the humility to navigate a delicate founder transition \u2014 all while relocating to a secondary market. <a href=\"https:\/\/addisongroup.com\/\">Addison Group<\/a> was chosen because of our ability to execute nuanced, high-impact leadership searches under complex conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We launched a two-pronged intake process \u2014 aligning directly with the private equity firm and then separately with the executive team \u2014 to map out competing priorities and identify common success markers. We held weekly update calls, walking through shortlists, recalibrating market feedback, and tightening the criteria with each pass. Our team applied a refined search methodology, tapping into product-focused SaaS operators and technology executives who had successfully scaled through turnaround cycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite an early setback when our initial frontrunner accepted another offer, we doubled down. Within a week, we surfaced a second exceptional candidate \u2014 an experienced SaaS product and engineering executive with turnaround experience \u2014 who is now the company\u2019s current CEO. They have since led the company through its transition phase and are now actively executing on the next chapter of their growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have an ongoing relationship with the PE firm and their portfolio.
