1. Set a Solid New Hire Foundation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before your new employee steps into the office for their first day, send a welcoming email that lets them know what to look forward to on their first day\/week. Also, send over any necessary new-hire paperwork in advance so you can both hit the ground running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, make sure your current team is informed on who is starting and when they\u2019re expected. Fill them in on the role they will be performing, who they\u2019ll be working with, and more. This puts everyone on the same page and reduces confusion and wasted time, which can rub new employees the wrong way and give a bad impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Show Your Company Culture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Company culture is important<\/a> to many people, so make sure yours shows.
