I have worked in Information Technology, Manufacturing,\nConsumer Packaged Goods, Physical Therapy, Real Estate, Transportation\nLogistics, Retail, Wholesale, Education, Textbook, Water, and Insurance\nindustries. I\u2019ve enjoyed a variety of projects within the Finance & Accounting\numbrella, including Accounting Management and Technical Accounting, FP&A,\nFinancial Modeling, Post-Acquisition Integration, Shared Services, and Business\nProcess Outsourcing, System Upgrades, M&A Due Diligence, and Finance\nTransformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At DLC, I can make a difference. I\u2019m constantly in\nhigh-impact situations where I can genuinely help a company through difficult\nchallenges. When each assignment ends, I walk away with more friends and\nconnections, having achieved something meaningful and worthwhile, and having\ngained new skills along the way. I like to exercise early in the morning and then read the\npaper on the train ride to work. At every client, my workday is mostly about\nsolving problems, managing situations, and applying my professional toolkit to\nwhatever the circumstances are. I work with fantastic clients with great\npeople. Whether managing a project, cleaning up a balance sheet, working\nthrough technical accounting and finance matters, or implementing a new\nfinancial system, my days are all about how to maximize impact. Client\nand project variety is an excellent perk at DLC. I\u2019m never bored!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have three teenage daughters and a ten-year-old son.\n All three daughters will be in high school next year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve helped a lot of companies meet tough goals. Perhaps one\nof the biggest wins was facilitating a successful spin-off for a REIT. It\nshould have failed so many times, but we pulled off a win. When my clients\nsucceed, I\u2019m happy. Yes, it\u2019s personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love the variety of experiences, challenging assignments,\nconstant learning, and ongoing association with highly qualified professionals.\nThe management team has earned my trust, time and time again. We have a great\nteam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m excited about the advancement of science &\ntechnology. I also actively support poverty alleviation, music & performing\narts, as well as adult education & literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I enjoy skiing, cycling, mountain biking, sporting and music\nevents, most anything outdoors, and traveling to new places. I\u2019m happiest when\nI\u2019m spending time with good friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
General management jobs would be my second career choice. I\nlike to organize things and work with people. Finance and Accounting functions\nare my favorite, however. I feel right at home in this space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Believe in yourself! Put yourself in situations that\nchallenge you. Surround yourself with good people. Actively learn new things\nevery day. Keep up with advances in the profession \u2014 things change very\nquickly.
