Unemployment dropped slightly to 4.3%, compared to 4.4% in February according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The gains mark a recovery from February’s losses, which were largely attributed to severe weather and labor disruptions, and suggest underlying resilience despite broader economic uncertainty.

How Addison Group built a global cyber defense team in days https://addisongroup.com/insights/resources/how-addison-group-built-a-global-cyber-defense-team-in-days/ Fri, 27 Mar 2026 18:14:12 +0000 https://addisongroup.com/?post_type=resource&p=9717 A cybersecurity intelligence company headquartered in the Northeastern region of the US needed to strengthen its ability to detect and respond to threats in real-time before the US workday even began.

Challenge

Addison Group’s relationship with the client began with initially building their US team, requiring a team of contractors to develop a new customer-facing value dashboard to detect real-time cybersecurity threats. This necessitated building a pod of five IT professionals. This included a program manager, front-end, and back-end engineers, based out of their US headquarters.

After successfully delivering teams in the US, the client now faced an additional challenge: monitoring threats beyond US working hours. They turned to us to help acquire critical cybersecurity talent in the UK.

Solution

To implement comprehensive 24/7 coverage, the client sought specialized overseas talent to address threats and malicious activity before the US workday began. By sourcing this talent globally, the client could ensure protection at all hours of the day without overwhelming their US team.

Addison Group’s Global Excellence Center (GEC) — a strategic hub designed to help clients worldwide achieve faster, more efficient, and more scalable results — partnered with the client’s Director of Managed Services to place a team of cybersecurity professionals in London. The GEC worked quickly and identified top candidates within a week of the initial request.

Results

  • Established round-the-clock cybersecurity monitoring and threat response
  • Delivered qualified overseas candidates within one week
  • Reduced workload and burnout risk for US-based teams
  • Achieved 100% conversion of placed candidates to full-time employees

The Addison difference

We know that great teams start with great people.

That means we focus on quality, not quotas. It means that we’re laser-focused on seeing candidates beyond their resumes. We understand their goals and make sure they align with your mission. And it means working with you to get detailed insights into your teams so we can find people who fit, not just who’s available. Let’s talk.

AIM Consulting and global talent partner successfully develop cloud identity application for leading global technology organization https://addisongroup.com/insights/resources/aim-consulting-and-global-talent-partner-successfully-develop-cloud-identity-application-for-leading-global-technology-organization/ Fri, 20 Feb 2026 16:15:26 +0000 https://addisongroup.com/?post_type=resource&p=9529 A leading technology company needed an expert technology consulting team to help with developing a cloud identity service migration tool.

Challenge

A leading global technology company aimed to capture market share in the cloud identity and access management space from competitors. However, their clients faced challenges when migrating from competing identity platforms. This required manual data collation and resulted in obscure and complex migration processes. The company needed an internal tool to provide insights into and streamline the efforts related to these migrations, allowing customers to discover, analyze, and catalog their identity applications, assisting them in making the decision to migrate and ultimately, simplifying their transition to the company’s cloud identity platform. The tool needed to dynamically analyze environments and pull relevant information together to estimate the complexity and effort it would take to complete said migrations.

Solutions

The technology company partnered with AIM Consulting (an Addison Group company) to develop a web application and command line interface (CLI) tool using JavaScript, .NET, HTML/CSS, and PowerShell. AIM was chosen based on their reputation for flexibility and agility with clients. AIM utilized a blended team model, with onshore account and engagement management support, while global resources based in Europe were focused on engineering, architecture, and implementation. The tool was designed to significantly simplify migrations from competitor products. This ultimately enhanced efficiency and also reduced manual effort for the company’s clients.

Over a multi-phase, multi-tool effort spanning three years, AIM’s team played a critical role in the successful development, implementation, and rollout of the tool. The resulting application provided substantial value. The company is now considering incorporating the tool as an official feature of its cloud platform.

Stakeholders praised AIM’s expertise, collaboration, and service levels, with feedback noting that AIM felt like an extension of their core team, providing timely and high-quality support that often surpassed that of internal teams.

The Addison Group difference

That means we focus on quality, not quotas. Because engaged, challenged consultants consistently deliver exceptional results. We prioritize trusted relationships with proven talent. Addison Group saves consumer packaged goods company $1.2 million with specialized global talent https://addisongroup.com/insights/resources/addison-group-saves-consumer-packaged-goods-company-1-2-million-with-specialized-global-talent/ Mon, 16 Feb 2026 16:13:19 +0000 https://addisongroup.com/?post_type=resource&p=9480 A leading consumer packaged goods company headquartered in Michigan needed additional SAP expertise to address system errors and improve performance. To scale efficiently and access a broader talent pool, the client adopted a globally distributed hiring approach.

Challenge

Addison Group’s relationship with the client started with an introduction from one of our affiliate brands, DLC Consulting. Addison Group met with the client’s Director of IT, who explained that they needed support with SAP testing and assistance in understanding errors. They needed talent to help determine whether it was an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) issue or a master data issue across various document types. Additionally, the client needed to ensure system-readiness and document processes. If the client didn’t address these issues, they’d be unable to bill customers.

Solutions

The client required data entry specialists to validate data and ensure accuracy. By sourcing specialized talent globally, they would be able to address these challenges efficiently while remaining cost-effective.

Addison Group’s Global Excellence Center (GEC) partnered with the client to design and operationalize an offshore data-operations capability in India. Leveraging the GEC’s global talent ecosystem, the team led end-to-end sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding of data entry specialists to support the client’s growing operational needs.

Within two months, the GEC stood up a team of seven specialists and proactively developed a pipeline of three additional candidates to ensure resilience and continuity. By establishing this offshore operating model through the GEC, the client realized $1.2 million in cost savings while increasing delivery capacity and operational scalability.
